The Oaks are always on the go - Doing Faith, Doing Fun, and Doing For Others. This group is made up of OBC's adults that are 60+. Praying, serving, and caring for one another - all while having fun are characteristics of the Oaks. Come and join them on one of their projects, events, or outings.

They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display
of his splendor. - Isaiah 61:3

Experiencing Faith Together

As we experience faith together - we want to love God, love each other, and serve Him in all our ways. We want to leave evidence that we studied God's word and then put into practice what He instructed us to do. The Oaks strive to live out their witness as they encourage and pray for others, and as they fellowship and enjoy new experiences. May God be glorified in all that we do.

May 6

OAKS - VBS Workday

10:00 AM - The Commons
Each year our Vacation Bible School leaders set aside VBS projects specifically for the OAKS to tackle. In the past, we have assembled lanyards, put together bracelet making packets, prepped wind chimes, put together decorations, etc. It's true, many hands make light work.

June 3

OAKS - Falls Creek visit

11:00 AM - Leave OBC
The OAKS take a day trip, to Falls Creek, and visit our youth and sponsors in the OBC cabin. We enjoy lunch on the way down, spend time visiting in the cabin, explore the campgrounds, and eat dinner with OBC youth & sponsors (then we head home). We also deliver treats and goodies for them to enjoy the rest of the week.

June 18

Nichols Hills Band

5:30 PM - Leave OBC
After stopping for dinner, we set out our lawn chairs and enjoy a variety of concert band music. This is a Summer community band concert under the stars. (weather permitting)
