The Oaks are always on the go - Doing Faith, Doing Fun, and Doing For Others. This group is made up of OBC's adults that are 60+. Praying, serving, and caring for one another - all while having fun are characteristics of the Oaks. Come and join them on one of their projects, events, or outings.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor. - Isaiah 61:3
Experiencing Faith Together
As we experience faith together - we want to love God, love each other, and serve Him in all our ways. We want to leave evidence that we studied God's word and then put into practice what He instructed us to do. The Oaks strive to live out their witness as they encourage and pray for others, and as they fellowship and enjoy new experiences. May God be glorified in all that we do.

USA 250 celebration
- 5:30 PM - The Commons
Come and celebrate with the OAKS. There will be a special guest, a catered meal, and other surprises - as we praise God for our country and the amazing people that make it great. Joining us will be visual artist Richard Hight. Richard travels worldwide as keynote artist and will be presenting as he creates a visually stunning piece of art. You do not want to miss it.
July 27
Ice Cream Social
- 1:00 PM - The Commons
Join us for our annual Homemade Ice Cream Social. The OAKS provide a variety of flavors and it is always fun to try a new flavor.
AUGUST 22
Senior Saint Pool Party
- 5:30 PM - The Schmidt's Home
The Senior Saints Community Group will have their annual pool party at the home of Darryl & Stacy Schmidt. It is always a good time with a potluck meal, swimming, and fellowship.
September 28 - October 2
Ark Encounter Trip
- 5 days / 4 nights -
Hop on the charter bus and join us as we travel to Kentucky to experience the replica of Noah's ark. Other planned stops are the Creation Museum, Toyota Car Factory Tour, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, and Graceland. There will also be a few other special stops, and of course, some delicious meals. Contact Chris Moore for more information.
