Connect
Connect Through Worship
One of the best ways to connect with God and God's people is through Worship. Our Sunday Morning service (11:00 AM) is at the center of everything we do at Oakdale Baptist Church. God is glorified through the gathering of believers, worshiping through music, the offering of prayers, and the teaching of Biblical truths that can be applied to everyday life. OBC is blessed to have Worship Pastor Jami Smith and band to lead worshipful music. Pastor Justin Ford preaches most Sundays and brings an inspired message to encourage and challenge the congregation. Come and join us as we seek to please our Heavenly Father with our worship and praise.
A Safe, Fun Place for Children to Connect with God and Others
We are all about kids! We provide safe, clean, and fun environments so that every child can be known, connected, equipped, and empowered to say “yes” to Jesus and His purpose for their lives!
Mother’s Day Out
OBC is thrilled to offer a Mother's Day Out program to the community. MDO is held at the OBC campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and follows the Oakdale Public School calendar.
Raising Up A Generation
That Is Passionate About Jesus.
The OBC Youth Ministry helps lead students to say “yes” to Jesus and His purpose for their lives. We do this through large group gatherings, small group community, and individual life discipleship.
No matter where you are in life - there is a place for you.
Our adult ministries are designed to help you take your next step of faith in a practical and relevant way. Whether that step is getting baptized, joining a group, or finding a place to jump in and serve, we have a next step that’s right for you.
Community Groups
Community Groups are all about relationships at OBC! Meeting on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 AM, our Community Groups are designed to help you develop meaningful, lasting relationships with other adults as you grow in your own relationship with God and His Word.
There are currently five Adult Community Groups - feel free to explore them all and find the one that is the best fit for you!
Senior Adults
At OBC, our senior adults are known as The Oaks. They are a vibrant and active group that is regularly involved in ministry and caring for others. They also enjoy numerous fun activities and outings. This close-knit group welcomes anyone 60 years or older, but they don’t check IDs if you want to sneak in early.
Midweek
Wednesday nights are another important opportunity for relationship building, serving, and Bible Study. We serve a free meal from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, and Adults have Bible Study from 6:00 to 7:15 PM. In the Fall, this is a large combined group (we're currently doing a study based on the streaming series "The Chosen"). In the Spring, we offer multiple topical Bible Studies. This is a great opportunity to get to know people who don't necessarily fit in your specific age group.
Reaching others near and far.
The Missions Ministry at Oakdale exists to equip and send followers in the Great Commission given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 to “Go and Make disciples”. We believe that all followers of God have a call to share the Gospel wherever God puts them.
Community Bible Study
OBC is happy to have Community Bible Study on our campus to offer a ladies Bible study here in Edmond. Starting August 19, this group meets on Mondays from 10:30 - 12:00 PM and will be studying the book of Matthew over several months.
