OBC MIDWEEK
Wednesday nights are an important opportunity for relationship building, serving, and Bible Study. A free family meal is served from 5:00-6:00 PM and then Adults have Bible Study from 6:00-7:15 PM. In the Fall, the adults are in a large combined group. We are currently doing a study based on the streaming series "The Chosen". In the Spring, we offer multiple topical Bible Studies. This is a great opportunity to get to know people who don't necessarily fit in your specific age group.

Starting Point
Discover Who God Created You To Be and Get Involved
Whether you are new to OBC, or you have been attending for years, join us in Starting Point (taught by Lead Pastor Justin Ford). You will learn about OBC's history, values, and vision for the future. Starting Point is a twelve-week class offered during OBC Midweek each Spring on Wednesday evenings. As part of the class, you will enjoy getting to know Pastor Justin and Christine Ford as well as all of the class participants.

At Oakdale Baptist Church, we believe Community Groups are the lifeblood of our church body. Community Groups are a place to deepen our knowledge of God’s Word, invest in meaningful relationships and receive care when we experience difficult things.
There are currently 5 Adult Community Groups
Community Groups meet on Sunday morning from 9:45AM - 10:55AM in the Adult Education Building.
Feel free to explore them all and find the one that is the best fit for you!
Compass Group
Ages 18 - 29
This group strives to set young adults on the path of following Jesus in your career, relationships, and everyday life, as He ultimately directs your steps.

Discovery Group
Ages 30 - 55
A very relational group that most often does short Bible study series.
Leaders: Brian Williams,
Merl Kardokus, & Eric Metheny
Embry Group
Ages 50 - 65
This group typically does in-depth studies that can last for months at a time!
Leader: Sandy Embry
Ladies Group
Ages 25 - 65
This is a group made up of ladies who are either single, widowed, or don’t have a husband at church. A new group that began in April of 2024.

Senior Saints
Ages 65+
In this group, an in-depth guide is used to study selected books of the Bible. This information is developed, through discussion, into practical Christian application for today's world.
