We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to Oakdale Baptist Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time.

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. Guests are never expected to give a offering, so no offering plate will be passed, but if you would like to give a tithe you may do so by dropping it in the offering chest at the back of the Worship Center or simply go on-line and make a gift through our church website. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted by a friendly face and welcomed every time you come to see us.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Oakdale Baptist Church and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service we have care available for infants age 0-3 in our nursery located in the foyer of the Worship Center. Children ages Pre K to 4th grade are welcome to attend Live Worship, a kid friendly worship experience in the Children's Building, or they are always welcome in the Worship Center as you worship together as a family.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound Biblical preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed. The scripture used will be shown on the big screen in the Worship Center, so no matter the text, you will be able to follow along. Of course, feel free to look it up on your phone or tablet, or use whatever is most convenient for you to see and hear the truth of God's Word.

Biblical Teaching

Here at Oakdale Baptist Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.

Sunday mornings are for Community Groups at OBC! We have four adult groups that meet from 9:45 am – 10:45am. Groups are formed with age and stage of life in mind but also have a lot of diversity so we encourage you to try each one until you find the right fit for you!

Community Groups are all about relationships and this is VERY important to us here at OBC. We don’t want to just know one another casually, we want to “DO LIFE” together! That’s why Bible Study in Community Groups is focused on real life application and seeking direction for our lives.

Check out our Community Group page for up to date class offerings.
